I was phoned on 18/02/2016 to say since I was no longer on a contract that they (which I thought at the time was MTN) would put me on a cheaper contract - since the phone is \paid off\" . This would amount to R130 per month - where I was currently paying R250. I agreed to this verbally - not realizing it was actually a 24 month contract!To my horror I have discovered it is an open line and have so far paid R450 (the \"contract\" - which I didn't realize was a contract costs in the region of R210 per month!!! So my calls are in the region of R220 and the contract R230.<br> The agent at the time said they would courier me the papers to sign- which were sent to my work even though I am on maternity leave- I was called by my work and said its a new SIM card! That is when I realized something was up- it's actually a contract. Needless to say the papers/SIM haven't been delivered- and Velociti say they are first getting the papers' SIM back before they can cancel! Yet they started charging me more before I signed! Yet they can't cancel it. ********* BUSINESS PRACTISE. Please can this matter be resolved and the contract CANCELLED"
