LACK OF CARE

Dear Varsity College Online Support,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the ongoing administrative issues and lack of adequate student support I have experienced, which have severely affected my academic progress and mental well-being.

Despite numerous emails and phone calls from myself (May), I received no timely communication or guidance regarding the application for my graduation certification or was even notified I needed to apply for it. This failure to inform students of critical steps in their academic journey is deeply concerning and unprofessional.

Additionally, I have now missed over a week of my Bachelor’s degree classes—heading into the second week—due to persistent system issues and the institution’s delay in resolving them. I began reaching out in June, and only on the 25th of July was my situation finally acknowledged and finalised. Even now, I am told to wait an additional 42–78 hours for the system to reset my modules, leaving me further behind through no fault of my own.

I have fulfilled all my responsibilities as a student, and yet I find myself repeatedly chasing the institution for basic support. The mental toll this has taken is significant. No student should have to experience such neglect, especially from an institution that claims to prioritise student success and care.

It is incredibly disappointing and disheartening, and I would strongly urge prospective students to think twice before considering Varsity College, based on my experience.

I expect a formal response to this complaint and a clear, immediate resolution to my current access issues. Furthermore, I urge you to reflect seriously on the administrative processes in place to prevent this from happening to future students.
