I enrolled in Emeris's PGCE programme in February 2026 and paid R41,160 in full. I cancelled in March after a serious breakdown in service delivery. My FDBS7311 lecturer delivered no live classes, recordings, or resources for weeks. When raised, I was told recordings existed — they did not. My FDBS7411 postgraduate feedback was two sentences. No cohort student scored above 65% on Assignment 1. I was repeatedly told I had opted to source my own Teaching Experience placement. I never made that election. I cancelled on 21 March 2026. A partial refund was processed in April without my agreement and before any formal outcome. The outcome arrived 25 May 2026, retaining R23,520 under a contract clause I have never been shown. I have since filed complaints with DHET, the CHE, and the NCC. If you are considering enrolling: request your Registration Contract before you pay. I was not given that opportunity.
