HORRIBLE STUDENT RELATIONS AND OVERALL SERVICE

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT EVER IN YOUR LIFE REGISTER TO STUDY AT AN IIE INSTITUTE ESPECIALLY VC!!!! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO WASTE AWAY YOUR MONEY!

My first year of this qualification through VC online was great! It was a very seamless process and i felt a sense of relief. But this semester however was ATROCIOUS! From registration straight till exams! It was absolute HELL! First my VC Portal and VCLearn weren’t loaded or working, it took months to get my material, it took me logging constant tickets almost every week. This delayed my assessment submissions which caused me severe stress because now i had deadlines back to back from having to submit older work and recent work together which meant I didn’t have enough time to do my assessments properly and i lost out on several marks.

And then there was the continuous struggle of the portal, to date i still can’t see my overall results. My portal barely even opens. Then there was the lack of support I’ve gotten from this institute it has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Especially since i work so hard to make sure that my fees are paid and maintained, i expected so much better from the IIE. It’s truly sad to see how much of my tuition fees have to go to waste as a result of all of this. The hassle of getting my information and constantly trying to get assistance for the portal to work is embarrassing on its own.

And my final issue with your school is probably the worst experience I’ve had this semester. Initially when i registered for online studies i was certain i could study with you while living overseas, I thought this was a remote course. And my registration officer at the time assured me it would be and judging from my first semester i assumed it would continue so, but to my disappointment I’ve been registered for modules that don’t allow me to write my assessments online meaning that i lose out on those marks. Now here again I’ve lost out on thousands of rands because of this poor management. And therefore i’ve decided to no longer continue with VC or any IIE institutions.
