Vantage Debt Management - The Absolute Worst

Vantage Debt Management implemented a counselling agreement two days AFTER I opted out. I am without access to money for 7 days now due their engagement with my bank. They have been trying to force me into an agreement to earn fees, rather than addressing the issue at hand. Lots of nice talk and undertakings to fix thing but action what so ever. They should not be allowed to provide a service.

Good morning Hannelie, Thank you for reaching out. Based on your profile, you completed the application form on 22 December 2023, you requested to cancel the process on 05 February 2024. Due to the timing constraints, a member of management is in contact with you to assist you and not force you into an agreement for remuneration. We understand that you are frustrated but unfortunately due to third parties being involved in the request, we are confined to their turnaround times as well. We will continue to keep you updated as we have been.

To clarify, you did nothing from 22 December 2023 until 7 February 2024 - 2 DAYS AFTER I OPTED OUT.
You admitted to making a mistake but I must deal with consequences. Now you must follow "processes" to clear flags and whatever else. In other words you cannot or will not fix the mess you created. Is it part of your process to avoid an opt out instruction? Is treating customers fairly part of process?
Anybody considering Vantage or investigating debt counselling options should note these posts and think twice before engaging with Vantage.

Good day Hannelie, kindly note that we are currently in contact with you regarding your situation. We would in the interim appreciate if you do not make false allegations against the company. We understand that you are upset but making false allegations will not help the situation. As previously mentioned we are in contact with you.
