I have job offer but can't get it since I have waited more two months for clearance certificate
Morning writing this letter reason being it's been almost two months now I have been told about 10 to 21 working days I received a call on the 20th assuring me they gonna escalate my matter cause every time u call they don't pick up or the relevant person is offline. Am tired I won't wait another 7working days I want my clearance certificate issued by today. I have a job offer and if Friday comes and am still under debt review my life will be in shambles. Am tired of being sent pillar to post just for clearing my name. Even now my debt counsellor I haven't been in contact with him since I need to be free mostly important I need that jobðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

28 Aug 2025, 12:57Dear Phindile,
Thank you for contacting us.
After your review on 11 August 2025, we escalated your concerns and provided feedback. We tried to reach you by phone since 12 August 2025 but were unsuccessful, so we contacted you by email. Our records show ongoing communication between you and our client service department, where you agreed to the proposed action. In our 21 August 2025 email, we asked you to send the proof of payment, which you provided on 27 August 2025. This delay has affected the turnaround time we mentioned. After receiving your recent email, we forwarded the proof of payment. We are now waiting for a paid-up letter from the creditor. We cannot issue a clearance certificate until we have all the necessary paid-up letters.
We also wish to inform you that debt counseling should not directly affect your ability to find employment or apply for a promotion. However, this may be viewed differently in the finance sector and could depend on the employer.
Please update or remove your recent review, as it does not accurately reflect the latest actions on your profile. We have provided all relevant information by email. We appreciate your patience and will expedite the clearance certificate as soon as we receive the final paid-up letter.
Please continue looking out for our upcoming communication.
Sincerely,
Tyrone
