Failure to issue clearance certificate
After having paid all debts, and receiving written confirmation from Vantage that all my paid up letters were received, and that the process would take 14-21 days, I received an aftercare invoice which I paid. Since then it has been one excuse after another. In terms of Section 71 of the National Credit Act 34 of 2005, a clearance certificate must be issued within 7 working days of all obligations being met.This deadline has already lapsed. They have not responded to my emails for two weeks.
Do not use this company.

The Debt Help System, managed by the NCR, was recently offline for two months. Following this, the NCR introduced a new system that has significantly increased the processing time required to update consumer statuses. These delays have impacted the entire industry and are not unique to your file.
We appreciate your patience as we navigated these changes. I can now confirm that your clearance certificate was issued on 11 June 2026.
