*****e- Vantage Debt Management - Misleading and horrible service
Good Day
My name is Ashley Nthabiseng Disemelo. It seems like I have been ****med or de*****ed by Vantage Debt Management. When I first requested assistance from them, I was under the impression that I was getting into a consolidation (something that would help me clear all my debts). To my surprise, when I went to apply for a loan from one of the banks, I was asked if I was under debt review, and I said no but I have a consolidation that I did with Vantage. The teller informed me that I had been put under debt review, and now I basically cant get assisted at all by any of the banks. I was surprised, and as soon as I got home, first thing i said was I want to cancel. Now bear in mind they started debithing in March , April , May , and June. There is a payment where I had requested to cancel and they decuted so I went to my bank and reversed one payment which they assisted me with. Then they still debited in May and June even though I requested to cancel.
Now I am being sent from pillar to post, this morning I called again after they debitted even after I stopped it at my bank and cancelled with them. I requested proof and a refund and email trail that shows. Today they sent cancellation email and its dated today as if I never cancelled previosly.
I was also told that all the money I paid thus far will be going to legal fees and that I should provide them with clear up letters/ paid up letters that I have paid all my accounts. My question now is I have terminated their contract and said I dont want it, why do i have to prove anything to them for them to remove me under debt review even though I have decided to pay the accounts on my own. So basically my R 8000 went to legal fees since March they have never paid even one account under my name. They have not paid anything at all.
I am requesting assistance, as I fear that I will wake up one day with all my salary gone. At FNB, I was told that they cannot reverse it and that they cannot get my money back even though I did the STOP for 1 year.
I now want to leave the current bank that I am with as i am not really being assisted, but also left depressed due to this matter by Vantage debt management
