Clearance certificate
I am not happy about their service. I requested a clearance certificate 2months but I have not received any communication from them . I settled all my accounts in full. I tried contacting them but they don't answer their phone nor to replay to my emails

Firstly we would like to apologize for the timeframe it has taken to issue your Clearance Certificate.
When you settled all your accounts in March 2022, the National Credit Regulator had just changed their process on how Clearance Certificates must be issued.
Initially, it was Debt Counsellors who issued the Clearance Certificate and updated the National Credit Regulator's Debt Help System for the debt review flag to be removed.
In March 2022, the National Credit Regulator took away the Debt Counsellors' ability to issue Clearance Certificates and update consumer statutes.
All Clearance Certificates had to be issued to the National Credit Regulator for debt review removals.
Unfortunately, the National Credit Regulator could not keep up with the number of Clearance Certificates being issued which created a backlog for all Debt Counsellors.
In April 2022, the National Credit Regulator gave the ability back to the Debt Counsellor and we issued your Clearance Certificate and updated your status as soon as we had the ability to do so.
Once again, we are truly sorry for the delay, the delay affected all Debt Counsellors and all consumers who had Clearance Certificates to be issued in March 2022 and April 2022
