Thank you for contacting us.
Upon receipt of your review, I escalated the matter for an internal investigation. Our findings are as follows:
- Marital Status & Application Details: Our consultants guided you through the application process, which requires establishing whether you are married in or out of community of property. During recorded telephone calls, you confirmed at least three times that you are married in community of property. Our consultant advised that your spouse would need to be involved in the process. However, you returned the application marked as a single individual or as being married with an antenuptial contract.
- Vodacom Account: Under the National Credit Act, all credit agreements must be disclosed and included when applying for debt counseling. Applicants cannot selectively exclude specific accounts.
- Bayport Account: On WhatsApp, you informed us of the difficulties in canceling the salary deduction and instructed us to proceed with the mandate.
Given these facts, it is in everyone's best interest that your application be rejected via a Form 17.2 rejection. Please await further updates from our office.
In light of these findings, we kindly request that you remove or update your review.
Sincerely,
Tyrone
