I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the services your company provided. As a phlebotomist who was part of the frontline staff during COVID-19, I faced financial difficulties due to salary cuts during the pandemic. Despite my best efforts to keep up with repayments, I fell behind and was overwhelmed by debt.

Your company reached out, offering debt consolidation services. Initially, I was hesitant due to the complex financial jargon used by your representatives, but I was persuaded to enroll. Over nearly three years, I paid R560 monthly, only to discover that my accounts were not being settled as promised.

The situation escalated, and I was left dealing with debt collectors and threatening letters. To resolve this, I had to cash in my pension fund, which was a significant financial strain. Despite numerous emails and follow-ups, including providing proof of payments and requesting cancellation of the debt review, I was met with unprofessionalism and rudeness, particularly from the staff member who handled my case and my mother's subsequent inquiries.

My mother, who has taken over managing my finances, has also experienced unprofessional treatment from your staff. Despite her efforts and mine, you've refused to clear my name with the ITC or provide a clearance certificate. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the lack of service and the treatment I've received.

I demand the following: 1. A clearance certificate be issued immediately. 2. My name be cleared from the ITC records. 3. A written apology from your company.

I have submitted this complaint to the ombudsman with all relevant documentation. I expect these issues to be resolved by Friday, 4 July 2025. Given the two-year delay already experienced, further delays will not be acceptable.
