VVM continue to harass me

I have honestly had it with this company.

They say that I haven't paid my SABC licence, yet I cancelled with the SABC two years ago, and have proof that they received my cancellation.

My partner moved in with me and we both had TV licences, so I cancelled mine.

The nerve of VVM. They phone and regardless of what I explain, or send to them, their response is ALWAYS "why don't you pay your account". I cannot tell you how many times I have sent proof to them, and even an affidavit. At one stage I spoke to a manager who asked me to contact him directly, which I did - yet the calls carry on.

Eventually after about the 20th phone call (same thing explained everytime) I urged them to take it to court for arbitration, as their harassing phone calls are not going anywhere. Except they respond by saying, "We don't go to court. We have to just keep phoning you".

SURELY this is considered harassment and a case could be opened at SAPS against them, if you have on record that you have asked for arbitration and they decide to rather continue harassing you? My last phone call (second one of today) I started recording the call and have on record that I wish to dispute this in court.

I just don't know what to do. I refuse to spend anymore time sending stuff to them when it just gets disregarded. I have asked for arbitration, and I am sure I have rights to: 1. Have this matter presented in court 2. Ask that they stop harassing me.

I am going to get legal advice on this.
