Telkom's sneaky money making tricks

Telkom uses VVM debt collectors to (in my opinion...we wouldn't want to get sued now would we? Not on top of everything else!) harass, threaten, bully and overrun all of our pathetic attempts to clear up false billings, errors in our accounts etc and MAKE MILLIONS DOING IT. Bit by bit they gnaw away at our defenses until, finally we get so exhausted that we just collapse and give in. Well I did. I paid what I didn't owe. Did it work? No!

1.They never give anything on paper. Never. 2. They never have working email addresses. 3. They are unreachable by phone (if that woman says "the number you have dialled does not exist" just once more...) 4. Their tactics are sneaky. They know that you can never cancel a debit order. Once you have one they can bill you every month...different times, different amounts...always a few pennies added on to hide and and confuse you. This makes for a long drawn out and exhausting uphill battle up the slippery slope to the inevitable downward slide just when you think you have reached the top. So you give up. And try again later and then again and so on... So...when I finally did give in and send R1800+- ....what do I find? Telkom lurking on my credit report... now joined by CellC (a bank error started that one) and wham! My credit is ruined. So to the Telkom office....and guess What? The girl there told me she couldn't give me anything in writing BUT said that now Telkom owes ME money!! But just try to get it....no evidence but her word. What a laugh!
