Stop Harrassing me please

I once had an account with Edgars long ago if I am not mistaken it was 2009, i got financial problems and I was not able to pay them, remembering what the South African Law says is that an account that is dormant for more than three years is regarded as prescribed, if it is like that, why is VVW sending me e-mails waking up this account because it is regarded as a prescribed account if I am not mistaken?
