NO COMMUNICATION!!

I had an account with 8ta years ago. its been paid up since 2013 if not earlier. I've contacted 8ta to confirm that my account with them is up to date, I'm actually in credit with them, them owing me money! still their attorneys VVM contacts me via sms and phone wanting me to pay my 8ta account??!!! there is obviously no communication between 8ta and VVM, why are clients who are not in arrears being harassed by VVM?
