INCORRECT DEBTS CLAIM

I got a call from this company saying my late mom's house owes them. I then said to them my sister lives there she is not working that could be the problem. I then made arrangements to pay 100 on her behalf until the debts is cleared. obviously I refused with my banking details and other the requested as I did not trust them. just after me agreeing to make payment every month I call my sister only for her to dispute the claim

I then checked the sms to check the Municipal account they said we are owing it turns out is is not ours. and they were so persistent that I make arrangement.

Today I call to confront them about the issue they just hung up on me i am not even sure who the lady I spoke to was. I think that's how older people get ****** because they are unaware.
