Harassment

I lost my job and still owe on my Truworths account. I still made monthly payments although an amount below the instalment. I received a letter from VVM indicating the outstanding amount, thanking me for still making monthly payments and giving me a new lower payment amount per month which should be paid by month end. The Letter stated that R100 per month should be paid until the R300 was settled.<br> <br> Subsequently I paid R100 as required on 28th October. Following the payment I have received sms's, emails and phone calls on a daily basis demanding payment and stating that I have not paid as per the new agreement, yet the one sms received indicates an amount lower than the original letter which means they have received the payment made on 28th and was also confirmed by a gentlemen in their call centre on Saturday and again by the lady that called today.<br> <br> When I asked why they are calling as I have made the payment for the end of last month this woman told me that they WILL call me every day......<br> <br> This is harassment at it's best. If I did not make the payment I would understand the constant calls etc, but this is ridiculous!!!!
