Discount Misrepresented

Hello Peter,<br> <br> I have a credit card with African Bank which was handed over to VVM attorneys due to non payment. on the 22 October 2015 I was sent a message the I qualify for 40% discount should I settle my account before December and a contact number to call to arrange for payment. I went out of my way and took all my savings from my 32 days notice which incurred charges to settle the account so I can take advantage of the 40% discount.<br> <br> However when I called VVM for account details and to confirm the settlement amount, I was told of 20% discount and that the SMS sent to me was a mistake, I asked to speak to the supervisor and let known my dissatisfaction and she promised me that the discount will Monday 26th October. to date when I call I am told I only qualify 20% Discount.<br> <br> I need my 40% discount as communicated to me and settle the account.<br> <br> kind regards,<br> Edgar
