Collectors that just want to make money and never call you back when you want to pay the account up

This company is just trying to make money off people. I ma dealing with my husband MTN account handed over to VVM for arrears of his account. Arears R2573.64 paid up 31 July 2018 already and still waiting for a reconnection on this account and to be handed over to MTN again so the contract can continue till it ends September 2019. I call in and get told for the last 2 month they will lodge the reconnection. So i call 2 weeks ago and want to pay the account up, so im atill waiting for a manager to contact me regarding settling this account of not even R2676.12. I received a call yeasterday and was told i would get 20% reduction and still email with this in writing and date to be paid by. VMM just wants to add collection fees which have amounted to over R600 which is included in this outstanding amount.
