adverse listing added after account was paid.

We have been paying our account through VVM attorneys for Mtn for the past 5 years, in may of last year we received notice that our account was settled, and received a letter stating this.<br> just after that we app**** for credit at a bank which was granted after they did a thorough credit check. Now, 8 months later, when we want to apply for credit again ,we are told that there was a listing added against my husband's name ( which must have happened in the past 8 months) when we phoned the credit bureau compuscan they told us that this listing was done by mtn. I would like to find out who was at fault here, vvm attorneys or mtn because someone didn t do their job, and now my husbands credit score is influenced, and it affects his work negatively, since he needs to undergo credit checks regularly because he provides security services to companies. this could affect his job, and I expect this matter to be resolved very urgently, and I expect feedback given very urgently. we cannot be held accountable for one or more parties not doing their job.<br> please attend to this complaint urgently.
