Poor service

I recently made a purchase on a few items for a baby shower. Unfortunately I can't do the shower anymore so I came to return my items . They refused to assist me even though I have the receipt. I even asked to exchange it for something else n they still refused to assist me .. funny thing is I called them yesterday before coming with the items n now they don't want to assist me
