Never Again – Dishonest and Disrespectful Service

My experience at ValueCo Lifestyle in Harvest Place was unacceptable and has ensured I will never return. I went in to buy saucers for my plant pots. The saucers were displayed on their own with no signage indicating they were only sold as part of a pot-and-saucer set.

At checkout, I was told they "only sell them with the pots." The problem? There were no matching pots available. Every pot that matched those saucers had already been sold — and the staff had not informed those customers that the pots were supposed to include saucers. That alone is misleading and borders on theft, because customers paid full price for incomplete products without being told.

When I asked if I could buy the saucers alone at a reduced price since the matching pots were gone, the staff dismissed me and repeated, "We don't have a price tag to ring just the saucer up." Yet they still tried to charge me full price for a pot-and-saucer set, even though only half the product was available. Attempting to charge full price for incomplete merchandise is unacceptable and feels like another form of theft.

The attitude, the lack of transparency, and the refusal to take responsibility made it clear that customer service and ethical business practices are not priorities here.

They have permanently lost my business. I will never shop there again.
