VALR not refunding my USDT - its been 7 days. Support suggest I need to wait but no timeline provided

VALR took my money but is not willing to refund. I mistakenly deposited USDT into my VALR deposit account instead of USDC - I can see the money in VALR account (ERC-20 wallet) but they are unwilling to return the deposit.

Note VALR doesn't support USDT - but they do use ERC-20 wallets and other tokens. I have previously deposited to this account - this time round I just forgot to convert to USDC. I'm sure I can't be the only one that has done this - as by default most ppl still use USDT over USDC.

Support said I must wait for wallets team to refund - not time estimate given on multiple request - then in the last enquiry they imp**** that I might need to wait until USDT is integrated into VALR - again no time estimate given. A substandial amount of USDT is not stuck - it should be easy to return if like VALR you have access to the wallet. (they do since they consumed other deposits I made)

There is no other contact option except via the support ticketing system - and they just give me the same response - "Wait ... but cannot provide timeline"
