outraged and disappointed with the UCT online high school

I am outraged and disappointed with the UCT online high school run under "valenture online". I enrolled my son to start at the school in January 2022 but his start date was delayed and moved back due to the late release of his results from the governing body. After the paperwork was concluded he was accepted and his start date was moved to the 28th of February 2022. Come the 28th of February 2022 he was given the access details to his profile on the UCT online platform and was told to attend assembly with orientation during the day. We had paid for all the fees for his first month and admin fees required to secure a place in January 2022. Fast forward to our shock and dismay to receive a email stating that we owe fees for March 2022. To our understanding that the fees paid already covers the students first month of learning which is for the month of March 2022, as he essentially started on the 1st of March. but seems we are being charged a full months fees for one day in February 2022. Were he attended attended orientation and assembly. We have received several demands from the school for the fees even though we asked them to please explain how 1 (one) day in February justifies a full months fees. We tried to speak to a supervisor or manager to get clarity but out plea's have fall on deaf ears from the school as they have not responded to our emails for a number to call or a manager or someone to explain. As we speak we are still awaiting a response from the school since 09 March 2022 on a way forward or a call from the manager. Disappointed on how we are being treated.
