Failed to Overhauled my Engine

From 2***:Unresolved engine overhaul failure – Matter escalated to Ombudsman

I am writing this review to share my experience regarding a complete engine overhaul service provided by Vag Spec Menlyn. After paying for a major engine overhaul, the engine suffered a critical failure. Despite the vehicle being well within a reasonable period following the repair, the workshop has refused to take accountability or rectify the failed workmanship under warranty. Due to the lack of cooperation and the refusal to resolve this matter professionally, I have been left with no choice but to escalate the dispute. A formal case has been opened and is currently being investigated by the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA), along with all supporting photographic and technical evidence. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of service, accountability, and vehicle reliability after spending significant money with this establishment. Prospective customers should be aware of how disputes and major component failures are handled here.
