VHI - Vacation Hub International - DO NOT INVEST!

The presenter from VHI, Errol van der Westhuizen, is a very charming, humorous and convincing agent. However, due to time constraints I did not read the fine print and contract. Which by the way is at the back of the forms you sign. I was promised that I would see a return within 4-8 weeks which didn't happen. Faranaaz Möller from VHI was quick to point out that "We do not guarantee an income on your ownership interest as we will only be able to use what your other club makes available for us to use. The sales agents do their presentation on what was previously achieved which is very possible with your ownership interest as well." When I requested that I want to cancel my contract, this is the response I received from Faranaaz Möller: "The TCO is in possession of your ownership interest and is facilitating this for you. Once they have an offer, they will advise you immediately." and "You have been in contact with Isabelle in the TCO department and may contact her at any time on progress for any offers. However, I must stress that we are your travel club and to receive full benefit from your club you must make use of all your benefits and start travelling with us." I am still waiting for any offers and was never given any contact details for Isabelle. Another comment by Faranaaz Möller: "We provide you with the copy of the agreement immediately upon joining the club to ensure you are aware of the terms and conditions as well as your benefits with us."Financially this was not a wise decision to take at the time. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE CONTRACT (AT THE BACK), as they do not inform you of all the T&C's and especially the penalties.
