Vacation Hub International

<p>On 1 February we attended a presentation by Vacation Hub International(VHI). The presentation was done by Errol van der Westhuizen. He, on behalf of VHI offered aus a Diamond Membership. He told us that VHI will sell some of our Bonus Breaks of our Holiday Club Membership to customers(mostly foreigners) and that we wil in this way receive up to an amount of R80 000 per anum which will then cover our levies of Holiday Club and even make a profit. My question to him about this income was that , do they then supply us with an IRP 5 at the end of each financial year. His reply was "no". Very good promises were made to us by Errol, like this is a special , it is half price and is only valid for that specific night. He also said that should we want to cancel the contract we can do so and our money "will"be paid back in 72 hours according to the consumers act, which we believed. He never said anything about a cooling off period. Luckily after we have signed the contract I read through the contract and saw that we can cancel the contract according to the consumers act, which I did by e mail. I even went to my lawyer and ask him to inform VHI according to the contract that I cancel my contract. My email was dated 5 February and my lawyer's letter 7 February, which was well in the cooling off period. Up to now I have not received any feedback from them. Is this another ****???. Try to phone them , it is only a voicemail. I have even tried to get info from the marketing company Xplorer Brands, but I don't get much out of them. Help</p>
