Membership VHI

Was invited to attend presentation on West Rand November 2015. The consultant provided us with information that was so attracted that I decided to join VHI.<br> -Confirmed that I will never have to pay a deposit(hold) on car rental<br> -Excellent discounted rates on accommodation<br> -Discounted rates on flights<br> -and much more...<br> The fact that I will not have to pay a deposit(hold) on car rental, convinced me to join.<br> My membership only commenced as from January 2016....was not informed the period of time to membership<br> During January 2016 requested rates on the following -<br> - Accommodation in Belgium (did visit [URL Removed] same rates - therefore not the excellent discounted rates as was promised<br> - Requested car rental - was informed to pay a deposit(hold) (therefore received incorrect information when I joined)<br> - Requested quotation on flights - no discounted rates<br> I requested the membership to be cancelled as with immediate effect as well as cancellation of debit order and refund of deposit and was informed I have to be a member for 24 months before cancellation <br> Due to consumer rights of non disclosure and incorrect info - wish to cancel - no positive feedback from VHI<br> Please help!<br>
