Great service = great holiday

WE went on a barge and cycle tour from Amsterdam to Bruge in July, all organised by VHI, which was really wonderful. The barge tour was through Cycle Tours. Every morning we cycled from the barge mooring to that day's mooring, through wonderful farmland and villages. The good houses next to working farms was lovely to see. The European architecture and craftsmanship is a real eye-opener to us South Africans, used as we are to plain functionality. The barge crew went out of their way to make the trip special from very good meals to a visit every evening to the local town where the smaller, less spectacular things were pointed out. It made the trip really a living experience. Thanks a lot to VHI. Mark.
