#Vaal University Of Technology, Your World To A Bitter Future!!!

<p>It took me almost 10 years to get my Public Relations qualification from VUT due to my being unable to get experaintial training. When I finally did I thought it was the end of a long painfull journey but nope not at all! On the day of my graduation I was surprised to find a letter that said I owe the institution fees and and there can not get my certificate. No one ever told me about any outstanding balances for my fees. I called in and was told that I owed a R 800 levy fee or something but of that I R 800, I only had to pay half which was R 400 and some odd. I transferred R 500 to someone I knew at the institution to pay for me, to my surprise she was told that I owe R 900 and something. I was soo annoyed at this point but I transferred another R 500 to her. She paid it only to be told that no, I didn't have to pay the other R 500, now the institution owes me. This was in December, to cut a long story short I had to now travel from Johannesburg to Vanderbijlpark literally on my last R 100 to go and sign a refund form. It was a week before the end of the academic year and the lady told me that it usually takes 14 working days to process the refund so I was not holding my breath about receiving in that time frame.</p> <p> </p> <p>It's now the 16th of February and I still have not receive my money I've tried call the refund dept to no avail on +27 ********** /9213/9374 and 9242. No one answers the phone I've been trying practically everyday for two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Four numbers and no one answers, the switchboard lady is also not helpful she could not be bothered. I've never experienced such incompetence in my whole entire life!!! And I'm honestly not exegeratting! I just want my money and we can part ways forever!!!</p>
