Unprofessional and bad misconduct

My Daughter app**** and got a student number but when we tried to call admissions we were told that they are busy with people who app**** last year. My worry is staying with her home having nothing to do because the university fails to communicate if she has space or not and why if not. If i need to pay any money above what the course demands can i be told how much is needed so that i can pay since ia cannot afford to a child not studying in my house
