"Repeat research paper because YOUR lecture is unfit "says VUT ICT HOD

Please note that:

1. From January 2018 to June 2018 we did the research methodology and formulated our research proposal,

2. From June 2018 to November 2018 we did our research report based on our research proposal under the lecturer’s supervision with all communication attached,

3. We were not afforded a second opportunity like VUT main campus in November/December 2018 to rectify our research report,

4. VUT moderated our “misguided research projects” in January 2019,

a. The marks were already published on ITS in December 2018,

b. VUT published our reduced our marks in February 2019 with a lot of students failing, some from 80% TO 7% & 85% to 26%

c. VUT expects us to accept the new marks,

d. VUT wants us to repeat the subject this year again.

5. VUT first said the appointed lecturer used the wrong rubric when he was marking the papers therefore the reduction in marks,

6. VUT then turned around and said the appointed lecturer is unfit but he is still teaching the same subjects this year in 2019 at VUT,

8. VUT expects to use that same lecture to repeat the research project

9 VUT who deemed the lecture unfit, told us in the meeting that instead of repeating one semester we have to repeat the whole year, for her to cover what the unfit lecture didn't cover
