******* deductions from my rent deposit

<p>I received a lettter from my landlord acknowledging the notice I submitted to them to vacate my apartment am renting as am moving out end of december, they advise me that they will deduct R300 from my rent deposit for cleaning the flat, it was never included to the lease agreement that I have to pay for it. I spoke to the property manager advising her that I dont permit them to deduct R300 because does not form part of the lease contract I signed and informed her I am going to clean the flat myself. They told me whether I clean or not they will still deduct R300 and there is nothing I can do about it. I am not happy and I feel cheated since they kept my deposit they think they have rights to chow my money. I will appreciate if they dont deduct R300 cleaning fee as its not included from the lease agreement and I can do it by myself.</p>
