Urban Strides ZA – Very Disappointing Experience

I would like to share my experience with Urban Strides ZA to warn other customers.

I was desperately looking for a specific Adidas sneaker for my daughter. I couldn’t find it at nearby stores such as Sportscene, Adidas, or Studio 88. I then came across a store on Facebook called Urban Strides ZA. The sneaker was meant as a special gift for my daughter, and she was very excited about it.

I placed the order on 3 November 2025 and paid R1,000, with the expectation that the sneaker would be delivered by 16 December 2025. Unfortunately, this has not happened.

Since making the purchase, I have sent multiple emails requesting updates on my order, but I have received no response at all. Today is 25 December 2025, and I still have no sneaker, no delivery, and no communication from Urban Strides ZA.

My daughter keeps asking me, “Dad, where is my sneaker?” and I keep telling her it’s coming, but deep down I feel like I have been ****med. This has been extremely painful and disappointing as a parent, especially during the festive season. I now don’t even know what my daughter will wear.

This experience has completely destroyed my trust in online shopping. Urban Strides ZA should be held accountable for taking people’s money and failing to deliver or communicate.

I would not recommend ordering from this store.
