External bursary department

UP External bursary administrators have to be the worst among all the universities I have attended. My bursary made a payment to my school account on the 31st of July 2026 the payment was only allocated on the 8th of August. I sent them emails from the 4th none of the emails were responded to. After that I could not apply for bursary payouts on the UP student service website, I sent emails again and called I was not assisted. 3 weeks later they only let me know that they had not opened the system for my bursary holders to be able to apply for payouts. I was only able to apply for payouts last week Monday. 7 days later my application is still on submitted nothing has changed. They don’t care about students, because had they cared they would have treated this urgency understanding that we have been suffering for 8 months waiting for student allowance that help us get to school.
