University of Johannesburg charging for a cancelled course

<p>I registered for an honours degree with us in 2015.i paid registration fees but I then cancelled the course a week later due to unseen circumstances. I did the cancellation in person . I went and cancelled at the faculty with the head of department. I cancelled on time but I never received the registration money back. Now uj has handed me to vericredit for collection of about 4000 for courses that I cancelled . Why am I getting these calls while I cancelled on time and never even attended any of the classes at uj. What's the 4000 amount for. I wrote to uj ombudsman and they didn't respond.</p> <p> </p>
