being billed for a cancelled course

<p>Last year, 2016, I physically submitted my cancellation letter for the bridging programe in finance. I did this at the Econimic and Fincancial Sciences faculty office on kingsway campus, A-ring 2. This year though, the 8th of May 2017, I received an sms stating that I owe the university fees. How though is this possible ?</p>
