Shocking Service by Universal Health Administrators

It is almost 30 days since the submission of the relevant documents on 20 September 2019, 4 follow up calls later at my expense, a broken promise that it would be authorised by Tuesday, 15 October 2019, a missed deadline to phone me back today with feedback and still my daughter's hearing aids have not been approved.

Not to mention that even though I do have authority to do enquiries on my husband's medical aid - he is the main member - I was not once authenticated to do so.

My daughter is in grade 7, final exams are 3 weeks away and she has 80% hearing loss in her right ear and 40% in her left ear. She actually cannot hear without aid! But this fact and the urgency to get her authorisation sorted out, seems to fall on deaf ears.

I do understand there are processes and best practice in place, but when you are the newly appointed Administrator of one of the leading financial services industry companies in the country, surely you get the basics right, i.e. communicating clear turn around times, keeping clients/service providers informed of the progress, sticking to deadlines.

Better pull up your socks, Universal. If you spend half the time getting your basics right, you wouldn't need to spend so much time extinguishing fires on sites like HelloPeter.
