Bad Customer Service and Empty Promises

On the 2nd of April I submitted a claim for my baby's visit to the pediatrician which I paid for in cash. After several phone calls (which were at times not answered) and countless emails, I finally received the following response from ZINHLE MAVI:

Dear Nomthandazo Tshabalala. Thank you for your email dated the 12th of April 2019. A claim for practice 10928 was received and processed to pay as follows: • The claim was paid at Massmart Rates from your Savings benefit. • A payment of R 600.90 is scheduled to be made on the 18th of April 2019. • The reason for short payment is due to rejection code B7 (paid at scheme rates) • The claim is to be paid to the member. Should you have any further queries please send an email to ********** or contact the Universal Call Centre on the dedicated Scheme number ********** .

I still have not received my payment and have more than sufficient funds in my Savings to cover the R750 I paid from my own pocket. I have never experienced such horrific customer service - they over-promise and under-deliver.
