Do not do business with Unified Power Solutions

I strongly advise anyone to not do business with Unified Power Solutions or its owner, Gerald Bothma, under any circumstances. My experience has been extremely negative, unpleasant, and financially damaging.

I paid a deposit in January 2025 for a solar supply and installation project. By July 2025, nothing had happened — no installation, no materials delivered, and no meaningful progress, despite repeated follow-ups.

After months of being misled and given false promises, I was left with no choice but to involve a lawyer and initiate legal action. Only once legal pressure was app**** were the materials eventually delivered. Even now, the matter is still not resolved, as Gerald Bothma still owes me a balance. He continues to promise that payment will be made, but these promises are never honoured.

From the very beginning, I was repeatedly **** to and strung along. This entire ordeal has been extremely unpleasant, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable for a solar supply and installation company that relies on customer trust.

Based on my experience, I would strongly warn others against paying any money upfront or entering into any agreement with Unified Power Solutions.
