Consultant Misconduct - Thando Ngwenya

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the conduct of Thando Ngwenya, a consultant from the Debt Collections Department, reporting to Sibusiso Nhlapo.

Thando contacted me in a highly unprofessional and hostile manner. She began the conversation by saying “so you blocked my number now” and immediately followed with insults and threats, including claims that she would send people to repossess a vehicle. At no point did she confirm she was speaking to the correct person. When I asked for clarification, she stated the matter concerned a vehicle account belonging to my mother. Despite this, she did not apologize for wrongly addressing me and instead continued with insults and threats.

Her behavior was mocking, abusive, and clearly intended to harass. This conduct is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Umvelo Risk Management. I expect that Sibusiso will take immediate action to address this matter. Should Thando Ngwenya contact me again with false allegations or continue to threaten me, I will be forced to pursue legal action.

I urge your office to ensure that consultants confirm client details before making contact and refrain from abusive or threatening behavior. Please confirm in writing what steps will be taken to address this incident.
