Process made so easy but Labour took too long!!!

I came across Uif Simplicity through a family member and tried them first for my maternity uif claim this year July. It was made very easy by their staff in terms of what paperwork is needed and following up with me on the process as well as what was happening at the labour department. Unfortunately we did hit a delay as the labour department had rejected my claim end of August as my surname had been changed at the department of labour ( I am married now) although on my side I didn't know anything had been updated yet at the labour department. Once I managed to correct all the other paperwork especially with the bank they finally sent it in and end of September I was told my claim was accompanied as it generally can take upto a month on Labours side. For the month of September I did struggle to get feedback from them and started to worry that I was being ghosted. However on my side I kept following up regardless and emailed the registration side as well as Micaela and Michelle. Michelle eventually called me from her own number and explained the situation and the delay as it was a fight with the labour department I can verify this is true as I was in contact with Labour departments call centre as well as online site. Michelle tried her hardest to help sort out my situation at the end I did come through with my claim through the help of Michelle at uif simplicity as well as the contact email I came across for the labour department online as the payment want releasing from Labour due to their system backlogs so in all honesty there wasnt anything this company can do about that. My payment was released in two parts and the entire balance was paid out. Thank you so much to Michelle and the team I am very relieved that it's all sorted out. In all honesty you also need to do your part by contacting the relevant people and follow up if you are worried as it can be an understandable struggle they do deal with a lot of claims at once and our labour department isn't the best of help in this situation. However I am very happy that I didn't get ghosted or anything like that as I have heard from other family or friends that have tried other places. I would definitely recommend Uif Simplicity and use them again if ever I have any uif claims in the future.
