UFO really ripping us off

My mother bought a lounge suit from the Rustenburg branch on the 17 of December 2019. This lounge suite cost around R22000, as we were assured that it was a genuine leather lounge suite. The sales lady who sold the set to my mother promised her that this set has a lifetime guarantee since it is genuine leather. We therefore bought the suite, and at the beginning of 2022 the lounge suite started to show cracks on the leather and now it's peeling off, why are we being **********, kindly assist.
