One star is being generous

Last week I activated my account to see what recipes were on offer. When I wanted to pause my account the website froze. Days later I realised that I never paused my account when the payment went off.

I have last used my account in December when I lived in Cape Town. I moved to Johannesburg since. I looked up how to change the delivery address and I followed the instructions.

Yesterday my box wasn't delivered. Today I emailed their customer services and am told I should have changed the address by 10 am on Wednesday before the payment went off. Nowhere on the website is this stipulated.

The box was allegedly accepted by who knows who but it was not me. I was never called to fetch the box from security or called by the delivery agent either.

I am being told I cannot get a refund and the box cannot be delivered to me in Johannesburg.

What kind of business are these people running?? No verification of who they're delivering to? Their website is misinformative and crashes.

No thank you ucook. Not while dealing with Corona.
