unresponsive Uber Help desk

On the 6th of August, i requested a ride for my Partner from Pretoria East Die Wilgers to Mamelodi, the driver arrived and picked him up then after driving maybe two houses away from pick u point, he decided to cancel the trip and bring him back to the pi k up points stating that he decided to no longer go to Mamelodi. When my Partner went out the car, he dropped his smart phone unaware. we have been texting Uber on their help button on the Uber app and a month later we have not received any feedback or received the phone. I sent more that 10 Help messages through Uber app.
