*****ulent additional charges for Uber trips

I'm disgusted in how the Uber drivers can abuse one's Uber account and not close a ride and let the trip run up way more than your actual trip amount, then Uber just feel they gave the right to deduct the amount off one's bank account...thus is *****ulent and shouldn't be allowed!! I took a trip for R79 yesterday afternoon at 3:12pm and upon booking the trip the R79 went off my account immediately. This morning I woke up to a notification from my bank that another R142 went off from Uber at 1:50am for the same trip!!! This happened before!! I immediately deleted my bank details from there. If I EVER use Uber again it will only be a cash trip, I'm appalled by this!! Earlier in the year when my car was in at the workshop I used Uber for a solid 3 weeks, in which the same transaction happened a few times. I later learnt the drivers don't close the trip and let the total run up and only much later close the trip. Be very careful of this everyone when you use Uber
