Uber - worst service ever!

I have never had any issues when using Uber to get to OR Tambo Airport. From the Airport, they have delayed me on two occasions for longer than an hour and I decided never to use them again to go home. I had excuses such as that the driver got lost at the airport or that the App did not hail them.

I recently tried to book an Uber to get to the airport (as I have done many times) and gave myself 25 minutes to find an uber and get to the Airport for my 5:55 flight. After 30 minutes, the App could not "find me a driver". I had to wake up my landlord's father and was rushing to get to the airport to catch my flight. Halfway to the Airport I suddenly got a driver (even though I cancelled my requests and when I again wanted to cancel the request, the App wanted to charge me more than half of what my trip would have costs as a "Cancellation" fee. I phoned the driver and he said he was at the fuel station and will be at my home in 10 minutes. I informed him that he was late and that I will not pay a "Cancellation fee". Unfortunately, by this time there were two pending transactions for the full amount on my card and I was forced to cancel in order for me to have a leg to stand on to reverse those transactions.

I will not use Uber again.
