Uber unprofessionalism

I requested a trip before 10:00 am, the driver called and advised me he is 8 km away and that I should cancel if I don’t want to wait. I opted to wait but he has not moved a bit. He is keeping me waiting. I called the Uber call center and no one can assist. If I cancel I get changed now am stuck with the hanging ride with a driver that is not willing to pick me up nor cancel the trip
