Uber unprofessional driver

The driver accepted my request, he then called to ask where I was heading to (which was the taxi rank). He told me to cancel because apparently there was a taxi strike which was a lie. i did not cancel because Uber was gonna charge me and extra R25 for my next request. Therefore iI waited for him but the problem now he was not coming to me as the ETA kept on increasing, I decided to call him but he was not answering. I then texted to ask him what is going on because there isn't a taxi strike, and he informed me to cancel still because he was on his way to Centurion even though he accepted my request and it was still on. He wasted about 20 minutes of my time and when i reported the incident I was only told that "Driver-Partner are encouraged to complete all the requests that they accept regardless of where the rider is going" not only did he waste my time he also disrespected me.
