Uber taking us for a ride with their *****ulent extra charges

I believe there is something that flies under the radar that requires urgent attention. Uber tends to charge extra for rides unjustifiably. They reverse the original quote for the trip and levy an additional charge even if they did not wait for longer than the 2-minute wait grace period.

I am convinced that they take advantage of the fact that customers lack the energy to fight over what may seem to be negligible amounts. I can only imagine how much they accumulate *****ulently from such practices from us, as users of their service.

Our family uses e-hailing services quite extensively, particularly my two daughters, who commute daily between their respective residences and university campuses. I used to blame them for these extra charges until I proved it with my own rides that these are, in fact, *****ulent extra charges.
